Intense one day MiDAS training course:
Our intense, one day, MiDAS course involves everything you need to gain your 4 year MiDAS certificate, in one day.
Especially tailored to a day that will suit you and perfect for those that cannot get time off to attend our pre-organised monthly MiDAS course. We also teach a one day intense course on a Saturday appointment only, for those that cannot
do the course during the week.
The one day intense course is also perfect for those wanting to take a minibus on a trip before the date of our next
organised course.
It all starts at 8:00am at our depot in Jessops Way. The morning consists of the standard course and the theory test.
After lunch, the afternoon consists of the access part of the course including a practical demonstrations of dealing with wheelchairs. After another short break you will then be taken out on driving assessment with Karen (our trainer).
If you attend the one day course, you will receive the 'Drivers Handbook' which will be included with the course free of charge* and your nationally recognised MiDAS certificate which will be valid for four years from the day of passing your assessment. Your day should finish around 4.30pm.
If for any reason you should fail your assessment, you will be offered another driving assessment free of charge.
If you only want to do the standard section and not the accessible part, this can also be done by simply eliminating the accessible part of the course.
*MiDAS Drivers Handbooks can be purchased from us for £8.30 each + VAT

One to One Training:
This training is especially suited to people that find it difficult to learn in groups, or have learning difficulties.
You will go through all of the above as the intense course specifies, but will be given help & guidance throughout
the course. As with the intense course, we can fit it in a day that will be suitable for you and include the assessment at
the end of the course.
A 50% deposit of the total price is required by cheque for any Saturday course when booked.
Cancellation for any of the above courses must be made 7 days or more, before the course date, and any money paid will be fully refunded.
If a cancellation is made within 6 days, a 50% charge must be made.
If there is no cancellation and no arrival on the day, a full fee will be charged.
