Our Trustees

Trustees are volunteers who manage the development of Sutton Community Transport (SCT).  It is a challenging role that makes use of their life experiences—particularly their work skills. There is no pay – but the reward is to see a charity develop into a vital part of the local community. The Management Board meet bi-monthly, usually in the morning.   If you think that you can contribute to the success of SCT, or you know someone who could – do talk to us.

Andrew Theobald (Chairman)

Andrew joined the SCT Board in 2006 and has a history of service in the voluntary, public and charity sectors. Andrew’s professional background is in the insurance industry, but in addition to this he has been a school governor for over 30 years, and currently serves on the Governing Body of Tweeddale Primary School.  He is also Chair of the Forum of Sutton Governors and is a Diocesan Member of Sutton’s Children, Family and Education Committee and Schools Funding Forum.  He served for 12 years as a Sutton Councillor and was for many years an elected, lay trade union official and chair of a Shaftesbury Housing Association local committee.
